Restaurant W: A New Chapter in Charleroi

Restaurant W has settled into the former Atelier of the Manufacture Urbaine, located on Rue de Brabant in Charleroi. This stunning building, which housed the media library until 2004, now boasts a chic and welcoming new decor.

The three floors and atrium are open to the public, and regulars of the former Atelier will be pleased to find the microbrewery tanks on the second floor, managed by Urban Breweries.

A Cocktail Bar and Dishes to Share

The first cozy tables are perfect for sharing tapas at the bar while savoring the aromas of signature cocktails.

Here, the menu is a true journey of flavors and discoveries, designed to be shared. Some of our favorites include the tuna tataki with cucumber juice and Thai basil, as well as the vol-au-vent with sweetbread at its heart.

For dessert, the indulgent homemade dame blanche, served with separate fresh cream and rich chocolate sauce, is an irresistible treat.

The Revival of the Quais

Quai Rimbaud is a popular spot in Charleroi, where locals and visitors enjoy going out and rediscovering beautifully renovated buildings. Restaurant W fits perfectly into this dynamic, bringing new energy to Rue de Brabant.

During the day, the atrium bathes the space in unique natural light, while the brewery tanks add a distinctive charm. The interior design—worth discovering—offers a warm ambiance with soft tones, while some raw walls add character to the overall setting.

With a seating capacity of 120, Restaurant W also features a dedicated meeting space accommodating up to 40 people, ideal for a tapas-style gathering.
